Eight couples contested the final of the 2015 WDSF World DanceSport Championship Showdance Latin in Chengdu, CHN, on 6 September. While Charles-Guillaume Schmitt and Elena Salikhova, FRA, chose not to defend their title won last year, all the other perennial contenders had travelled to the world capital of the giant panda to slug it out on the floor of the Feilong Gymnasium. And there were quite a few newcomers to the Showdance discipline too. Dancing and storytelling have never been better than in this final! Something that made Fedor Poliansky and Dina Akhmetgareeva, RUS, who were the first ever World Showdance Latin Champions in 2011, very proud!
