The two top finishers in the first GrandSlam Standard leg of the year in Helsinki, FIN, were - in this order - Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol, GER, and Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova, RUS. Third place went to Lithuanians Evaldas Sodeika and Ieva Zukauskaite. The recent European Championship in Cambrils, ESP, saw the same three couples place in the exact same order. But even if the roles of victors and runners-up seem somewhat permanently assigned by now, it could take as little as a moment of great inspiration on the part of some – or of exhaustion on the part of others – and change could happen. Just like in any other sport, the form of the day will need to be factored in too!
