New champions are crowned at the European Latin this year in Aarhus, DEN. No one is defending the title that Nino Langella and Khrystyna Moshenska won here last year. After the two broke up in October last year, two couples emerged: Nino Langella paired with Vera Bondareva for Italy, his former partner Khrystyna Moshenska with Marius-Andrei Balan for Germany. But neither couple is eligible - under WDSF Rules - to represent their new countries in a continental championship. Khrystyna danced for Italy and Vera for Ukraine in last year's World, for a period of twelve months following that championship the ladies cannot compete under their new flags.
