The full-length semi-final and final of the 2014 WDSF PD World DanceSport Championship Standard danced on 1 November at the Nanjing University Gymnasium in Nanjing, CHN. The defending Professional World Champions Mirko Gozzoli and Edita Daniute entered this year's championship with the clear intent to pick up from where they left off in Bassano del Grappa, ITA, in 2013 and to bring their highly successful active career to a befitting conclusion. The first Professional Division World Championship ever held in Asia brought the three contenders for the 2014 title to the floor for a final face-off between them. Benedetto Ferrugia and Claudia Koehler as well as Emanuel Valeri and Tania Kehlet stood poised to take over from Gozzoli and Daniute...
